Myleene Angela Klass was born on 6
April 1978 in Norfolk, England. Her father, Oscar, was a ship captain and was,
therefore, often away from home, so her mother, Magdalena, took on the duties
of raising Myleene and her younger siblings Jessie and Don. Myleene was only 4
years old when she began playing piano, as well as her grandfather's violin.
Despite being a classically-trained pianist Myleene shot to fame in 2001 in the
TV programme Popstars when she beat off thousands of wannabes to gain a place
in the UK's first reality TV group Hear'Say - along with Kym Marsh,
Suzanne
Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan. Even though the
group released the quickest-selling single in UK chart history - "Pure And
Simple" sold an amazing 1.2 million copies - the group soon split. In 2003
Myleene returned to her classical roots and signed a solo record deal and
released her first album "Moving On". The stunner now presents Saturday morning
music show CD:UK and appeared in ITV’s "I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out
