Stevens is a singer, actress and occasional model. An early career
highlight came at the age of 15, when she beat 5,000 competitors in a modeling
competition sponsored by Just 17 magazine. After attending the London School of
Fashion and working in PR, Stevens changed her mind and gravitated toward a
career in music instead. Stevens was selected as one of the seven members of
the successful pop group S Club 7, together with Bradley McIntosh, Hannah
Spearritt Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Jo O'Meara,
and Tina Barrett. In 2001 and 2002 readers of FHM voted Stevens the second
sexiest woman on the planet, behind only Jennifer
Lopez. After a UK tour in 2003, S Club decided to break up and Rachel
Stevens launched a solo recording career, releasing seven singles and two
albums in the UK between 2003 and 2005. In 2008, she signed on as a contestant
in the sixth series of the BBC One series "Strictly Come
